A Great Way to Give Your Board a Bit of Training
I asked AM Member Ninette Enrique if I could share this with you. She is training her board with brief instructional videos. In this one she specifically talks about the Asking Styles, trying to encourage her board members to embrace who they are.
Training your board to fundraise is an ongoing project. I lead board trainings all the time – big, one-off trainings – and always ask what’s next? What are you doing throughout the year to train and focus your board.
This a free, relatively “easy” way to teach them. And you can feel free to basically duplicate it and send it to your board!
