"I was delighted to be the keynote speaker for a very engaged AFP chapter in Connecticut. We focused on the Asking Styles and had some great dialog about authenticity and how to be true to your Style while still cognizant of your donor's personality. We talked about how to deal with executive directors who hate asking for gifts or are willing to go but don't understand their role. They need training too!"

"I had the honor to spend a morning working with representatives of education foundations from around the state. Given my ongoing work with the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills, I was able to share my insights on how to develop the fundraising potential of these foundations – mostly by getting beyond special events fundraising. We focused on making a compelling case and everyone agreed they and their fellow board members could use more practice on this front.
