Dear [First Name],
One of the biggest challenges facing organizations is changing the culture of giving and engagement, and our futures depend on it. Often we get so caught up in ‘the ask’ that we forget what motivates people to support us in the first place: relationships.
Join Dana Ostomel, Firespring’s vice president of nonprofit industry development, for this FREE webinar on Tuesday, April 18th at 3pm ET. to discover the secret sauce of cultivating a community primed and ready to support you.

Spring 2017 updates
Great to be back at the Tri-State Camp Conference to present on boards and see familiar faces from last year. Christie Ko, ED of Fiver Children's Foundation and customer of Asking Matters, shared with the room how she implemented some Asking Matters advice she learned previously. It was rewarding to hear!
As a presenter for Jerry Panas's Major Gift RoundTable in Chicago, I also got to learn from the other presenters. Top takeaway – when writing gift commitment letters, include some biographic information on the donors. "Mr. and Mrs. Smith, lifelong residents of Chicago and long-time donors to our mentoring programs…" Makes it more personal.
Getting ready for the North American YMCA Development Conference in San Diego in three weeks. I'll be running a special 3-hour program for 300 board members from around the country and look forward to reporting back.
Hope you're having a great year of fundraising,
